On the occasion of my fiftieth birthday, I published a book. In “Vijftig” (“Fifty”), I look back on my life up to that point. From my first years in the German village Assmannshausen to my career as a journalist, presenter, and entertainer. In the book, I recount in a lighthearted manner the fraudulent practices I fell victim to, my battle against a levy imposed upon me, my work for various media, and the way I sometimes struggle with deadlines.
In addition, I offer a candid glimpse into my private life, with stories about failed romances, unusual bedroom adventures, illness and family troubles, and much more.
