I have been active in journalism since 1989. I have worked for various radio stations, newspapers, and websites. As an independent professional, I am available to anyone who wishes to make use of my skills. An objective view of the matter, a critical attitude, and a reliable representation of facts always form the basis of my work. It does not matter what the subject is: I am versatile. I write a summary of a political debate just as easily as a company profile or a personal interview.
In 1993, together with others, I founded the local radio station Radio Beverwijk. I was active there for thirty years as program director and coordinator of the news department. From 2000 onwards, I also worked as a reporter for publishers of free local papers in the Kennemerland region. Additionally, I provided content for internet marketing companies and wrote contributions for the national weekly magazines Yes and Aktueel. Furthermore, for many years I was part of the team of regional correspondents for the KRO-NCRV radio program Plein 5.
